Profil

SRI Institute berdiri pada 19 Agustus tahun 2020, melalui Notaris Siti Asmaul Khusnah, S.H dengan SK Menteri Hukum dan HAM RI Nomor AHU-0040885.AH.01.01 dalam bentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan nama PT Sinergi Riset-Edukasi Indonesia. Meskipun legalitas SRI Institute terhitung baru, pengurus yang terdaftar di Akta Notaris, dalam prakteknya, telah lebih dari 10 tahun melakukan kolaborasi kerja seperti riset, pelatihan, fasilitasi, dan mereproduksi pengetahuan sosial terkait isu gender dan seksualitas maupun isu kelompok marginal lainnya. Berangkat dari aktivitas-aktivitas tersebut, pengukuhan eksistensi SRI Institute secara resmi dirasa perlu agar kerjasama yang dilakukan dapat lebih terorganisir, professional, dan semakin memberikan dampak yang lebih luas.  SRI Institute diinisiasi oleh 5 perempuan dengan latar belakang pengalaman, pendidikan, dan minat kajian yang beragam. Namun demikian, ke-limanya dipersatukan oleh semangat visi dan misi yang sama.
